Yard art....

A little something to make passers by do a double-take, just some stuff that was laying around, not a allis hood but similar enough that i painted it to look that way, cutting the tire down to halves was the toughest part, eats sawzall blades like crazy, best thing for that really is a angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. I even put a old peanut can on the exhaust stack to keep the rain out like you would any tractor thats parked outside with a upright exhaust. An afterthought would have been doing it up like the 49 "A" and then after a couple of months removing the junk and have the real A sitting in the same spot-with a 110 in front and a chain between both, like the mower pulled it out of the ground.

Reminds me of one of those lower budget movies where the dead are crawling out of their graves.

The "caddilac ranch" did come to mind, but years ago i saw a picture in a magazine where someone had done something simialr to this. Think they made theirs look like a deere though. I could make a 8N beside it, but dont feel like cutting another rear tire in half, plus the N-series hood could possibly be used/sold some day, this old hacked up bf avery hood is worth less than the can of orange paint i used on it, had been repowered by a wisconsin V4 engine thats been long seized up.
