I am replacing all the gauges on my workmaster tractor. Everything was smooth until I pulled the old temp sending unit. Tight fit around the block, cannot get the new sending unit screwed in far enough to seal. Nut tightens down, sending cable still loose, antifreeze leaks. Discovered a brass or copper sleeve in the hole in the block, but not after ruining the sleeve that came with the new gauge. Anyone else have trouble with this, and are the original equipment gauges not around anymore, they had a steel nut. New one has brass nut, which is hard to tighten without rounding the hex nut.
