Welcome to Springfield, NY and some views of Clinton Camp Farm, and some of our neighbors.
WE live where the 4 Lane ends. First half of pics are taken on the west side of our "tippy-top" valley. The later pics are from the east side of the valley In the latter pics. to the right water runs north to the Mohawk Valley, and to the left in pics., we are the beginning of the Susquehanna River which flows to the Chesapeak Bay
The latter pics are taken from the perimiter of our farm on the east side of the valley. There are still some acers of beans to be harvested and lots of corn. Pics from there are a bit fuzzy as I had my camera on max zoom, looking back at our home 20.

Ps sorry for the doubles, things get a bit congested when you are on the end of a ruarl leg on TW cable with other users, and trying to post this many pics.

Too cold for me too. Lived in the desert for almost 30 years to escape the cold and white stuff.

very nice country,,Im still gonna threaten you,,,someday my wife and I want to go on a road trip,,, the wife likes lakes,I have heard of many nice ones in your area,if we ever do go on this road trip,we may stop in and Say hello....dont worry,a lot of the stuff I think about I never get to doin anyway,,,,but ,,,it is a good idea? lol

Xfarma,
No cows anymore. The dairy barns were deconstructed, and the 3 tennat houses were flattened. They also own the farm that one of my deseased uncles had down on co31, and everything there was flattened also. All the land is in beans and corn.
Stittszel (sp) owend it for about 10yrs and did nothing with the buildings and raped the land.
The new owner is a local guy who grew up here in town. He married a gal who's faimly are big time chicken farmers and needed more land to raise feed for them.

Loren,

Is this the farm that is just south of route 20? If so My family looked at it when it was for sale in 2002 or 2003. If I remember correctly it had a funky double 5 parlor and old freestall. We didn't like the looks of it. We did end up buying a farm here in Mount Upton in 2006.

I have family that are in the chicken business as well. Where is the chicken farm that they are growing this grain for?

Looks like quite a transformation of the old farmstead anyways.

Very Nice and thank you. I'm amazed at how some of the field edges come right against the blacktop of the road. No ditch as every where around here (southern MN). Ron

Thanks for the pictures of your area. Is that U S Rt. 20 in the pic? I lived and farmed along Rt.20 in the 1950 s in Ill. clint

Well you got my courosity up now. I've seen previous post by you, but who the heck are you?
My e-mail is open for you to respond there.
Loren.
