OT Computer ?

I have a computer with windows 2000 I use for E-Mail and another computer for all else with Windows 7. Both are on the same desk. Can I connect them together with a ISB cable and send my Word documents from the one with Windows 7 to my mail with Outlook express on the Windows 2000?

I suspect you mean a USB cable and not an "ISB?"

Microsoft sells a special made USB type cable to enable sharing of files between certain operating systems. XP, Vista, 7, etc. Not 2000, as far as I know.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why don't you send your emails from the Windows 7 computer?

In any case, instead of hooking two computers together with usb cable, why not set up a gmail account and download google Drive. All this is free and it is a cloud system, so you can access your email and your documents from any computer.

Why not use Windows Live Mail on Windows 7. You can import your messages and address book from Outlook Express. If you don't have Windows Live Mail it is a free download from Microsoft.
