Saw a Dr that knew what he was talking about.

Went to a dermatologist tody. Had 13 spots frozen off. Dr said it was going to hurt and HURT IT DID, STILL HURTING.
 
I got to where I just keep that Dr Scholls Freeze Away wart remover around and if anything looks suspicious,I just freeze it off myself.
 
My family Dr was concerned about a few of my spots and wanted me to see a Dermatologist. Good news, everything checked OK.
 
I go every 3 months for a checkup and he always finds 5 or 6 to freeze.Had two taken off my face last year that were cancer.I'm 64 and spent a lot of my youth on a tractor in the sun.
 
Everyone makes fun of my straw hat with a shoe lace tied under my chin. I don't care. My grandfather died with chunks missing from his ears and it spread throughout his body. I won't be without it during warmer weather when my sweatshirt hood isn't up.
 
I went to one for a while because of some things on my ears. He was just using nitrogen on a Q tip. When it got to being just regular checkups,I figured I could do it myself. So far so good.
 
I have had two spots cut out, but only freeze ones the last few years. Had the blue light treatment and that helped (Photo) but you talk about pain. Put on sun screen EVERY DAY. Checked EVERY YEAR.

When the kids were young and I was doing the AI work on the cows, I froze off a number of warts on their fingers, using the nitrogen tank. Same thing the dr did in his office.
 
Liquid nitrogen is what my Dr used. I have some pre cancer spots. I would still like a Dr's opinion instead of doing it myself.

Dr said that some of my spots were from age, WISDOM SPOTS he called them.

I looked on my bottom side, sure enough there too. Proof the next time someone calls me a wise acre, I can show them I have the spots to prove they are right.
 
We have a dermatologist in the family, so I get checked out every 6 months. He usually freezes 8 or 10 spots.

Last summer he found a spot of squamish cell carcinoma on my right temple and surgically removed it.

At my age, and as much time as I've spent in the sun, I like to keep up on it.
