value of allis all crop

Brother-in-law bought one at auction a few years ago for $125. Good working condition, old gent who sold it even came over and gave him a lesson on setting it up for various crops.

They are getting more popular around here to combine specialty crops although the ones like the
72 and 90 that don't use a canvas are more sought after.Canvas can get pretty pricey but the pick up is really good I'd say between $500 and $1000.

These parts everybody wants the 72. No one wants the ones with the canvas. Would sell for scrap or less, kinda hard to move to the junk yard and are not that heavy.

A few years ago (3-4) a auction had about a half dozen, all setting out for years, some very rough. This is western Ohio. They all went to someplace in Penn to one guy for rebuilding and resale. Do not remember what they brought but trucking that many and that far they were not cheap when he got them home.

I think that depends on where you're at and who has it. If you live near Amish communities, those have a little more value. I talked a guy at a sale once who is in the business of refurbishing those things and reselling them to Amish farmers. He travels all over the country buying them and hauling them back to central PA.
