In most jursidictions you need no permit to do your own.

Yup,but as Festus said "don't cha see" all jursidictions require a permit to buy anything stronger than hair tonic. If he has a stash of Cloradane and Dursban I doubt any consoltation will be undertaken.

Unlike bears termites do not hibernate.

If you want to try to treat them yourself
(not a good idea)
Use Termidor rather than Premise.
The termites transfer Termidor to other termites better than if you use Premise.

If you want to read more on the subject search Dr Greg Henderson LSU.

Prolly ought`a wear an Ebola-proof suit If`n yer gonna spray Chlordane & even dursban....ahhh, heck, I know someone that has some `dane...lol

I had a horrible infestation and about 8 years ago had the house treated with Termidor. Still no sign of any.

Since the installer said it would be good for at least 7 years, I was talking to a guy about doing the house. In the conversation he said that once Termidor gets into the soil the only way you can remove it is to remove the soil. THAT is great news.

And I have seen it for sale online for about $75 for a small bottle, maybe 8 oz. Have no idea how much solution that will make.
