Osha Update

Looked pretty clever to me. Looked like something I might not be above doing. I have done worse. The real problem is going to be on the other end when unloading in the same manner. They are going to have a heck of a time doing that without some chain. Wonder if the guys on the other end can figure it out. That might be the more comical video to watch.

The guy on other should not have troulble unloading. That is a container setting on a chassis and it is setting backwards on chassis. I the rail yards they have lifts that are big enough to turn it around and set it on chassis the right way. I have seen several containers with doors on both ends.

It's all about knowing what your doing, and doing what you can with what you've got. Based on what I see, both machines are doing exactly what they were designed to do, picking a load that is well within their load rating. About the only thing I could see that OSHA might be able to declare unsafe about this is the guy riding the first lift up instead of getting off until the second lift had set it in the truck.

That said, these guys are just plain good.....it definitely ain't their first rodeo.

Now take a look at the post I just started with several cranes picking up each other....it's wild.

If that was in America. You can bet. Some OSHA expert with no clue. Would show up and screw things up.

This site will not allow me to post what I think of OSHA.
