JD 3010 Gas Air Hose - Help

JD 3010 Gas Air Hose R27628 is ~$70 at JD and similar price where you can find one. Dealer says there are 19 left in the country, likely the world. Has anyone done a substitution with a more available and less expensive hose?

I see a used one on ebay, it looks like the one I have. I just felt it would be a good time to replace this 52 year old hose, still serviceable but weather checked on the outside and hard.

If that is a special formed part many times I just pay up and be darned glad I can still buy it at any cost !
It would cost more than that to get a pipe bent up to where you could use short sections of straight hose. If that is on the intake side for the engine if it springs a leak and the engine sucks in dirt how much will that cost you ? Sometimes you have to think long term.

I'll second that. It's cheap compared to a dusted engine.
