Too late to spray thistles?

Hi All,

Been waiting for the real job to slow down and for a light frost. Hoping to spray this weekend. My thermometer said 26 this am and that also is the minimum it saw. I think that's close, but nearby town was reporting 29 at the same time.

I have no idea how long it was that cold (it was 35 at midnight on my thermometer).

Is that a "hard freeze"? Should I bother spraying? It may be too windy to spray anyway, and highs are only 50 today and 55 tomorrow, but I would need to buy the stuff today if I'm going to spray this weekend. Probably using Trimec (and didn't want to sit on it all winter if it wasn't used)

Any thoughts? Too late?

as long they are still growing, the ground temp may have protected them enough, I have some here to spray yet and they went through five hard freezing nights already, if they had blooms they may not make it, just depends what stage they were is what I have found here

cnt

actually too early to spray them in NE. another month will be primetime! air sprayers won't even come out yet!
