1988 Wheat Harvest Pictures

First of all I have to apologize for the pictures being turned. I scanned them this way and rotated them after they were saved in the file but when I post them on this website they go back to being sideways. They'll just have to do.
This was my dad with his Gleaner E combine. It was very dry here in South Central Illinois 20 miles east of St. Louis Mo. Hope you enjoy.

Very dry here also in 88, E SD, but we didn't have anywhere near that nice a wheat crop.

Yes, 1988 stands out in memory as the driest year ever. Dad said 1961 was about as bad. It was a high speed harvest with the 510 Massey. Not much straw to put through or grain in the hopper.
