Anyone going to the Jacksonville IL Steam Show next weekend?

September 26, 27, and 28. Flea market as usual (though as the years go by, it is less flea market and more cheap Chinese junk and arts and crafts, IMO). Antique tractor pull is scheduled Saturday from 10 to 2 (weather permitting). Definitely plan to watch that.

Featured tractor this year is Allis Chalmers. Sadly, I don't think mine will be running in time to take it (or well enough for me to want to take it out on the road for that trip, at least). Last time Allis Chalmers was the featured tractor it was 2002 when they did it with The Gathering of The Orange. I remember that one; it was very cool. A lot of neat stuff -- even the old green ACs -- showed up at that one.

Just curious if anyone else was going this year?

Yeh Will, I'm planning on going and sounds like centralilbaler is planning on taking a tractor or two to pull.
Let me guess - You'll have an orange cap on?
I'll probably be wearing my YT cap.

I'm not a regular on here but plan on being there
on Saturday. My wife likes to make a quick trip
though the flea market. I just drool over the
tractors.

Yep. Will probably be wearing blue jeans, an orange AC hat, and I'll see if I can dig up my 2002 GOTO shirt.

They do usually have a nice set up of them near the entrance. I do like that they moved the tractors to that flat; rather than when they used to be in the middle on the hill slope by the train station.

Show just started today -- hope to see some of you folks out there tomorrow! Tractor pull still tentatively starts at 10AM as far as I know. :)
