Drove up to Grand Island for corn husker days to find the gates locked. With the rain the parking was very muddy with water standing in it. We figured no harvesting, but could get in to see everything else. The venders could not get in till noon. Has it ever been closed because of weather?

Saw last nite on the other forum it was closed today, they were pushing cars out with ATV'S the day before.

The big show in Iowa a couple weeks ago was shut down 1/2 hour after opening on the last day, due to rain

27 yrs ago, they had to shut it down for a day. anyway that's what the local press is saying!

Getting in wasn't a problem yesterday, some people were having trouble getting out, til they had everyone leave to the north. Coming in and a lot of people leaving to the south mucked it up enough people were having trouble. They had it limited to 4x4's only no trailers in the parking area, and they were still pushing guys out with the buggies.
