reverse went out-changed tran oil &filters- took power shift off & cleaned it up good- now I have no forward or reverse- 3 point doesn't work very good either- put new tran pressure gage on- shows 200 on gage- drops to 150 when push clutch in than goes back to 200 when clutch is out- help would be greatly appreciated- thanks

You need a repair manual.
I just happen to have a factory manual for these 70 series for sale.

you have a manual for 970- how much does it cost & how many pages- does it address things in detail- I'm not a tractor repair man so I usually get someone who knows tractors to help me-

The manual covers the 970 and 1070 and i think the 1170 as well.
It is a complete 2 volume manual with hundreds of pages and lots of pics that covers the whole tractor in detail for repair and trouble shooting from front to back including a large section about trouble shooting the hydraulics and power shift,..how it works, where and how to test it..etc etc.
These are the same manuals the dealer uses.

The books are about 3/4 to 1" thick each, they are in good shape and complete.
I want $150 for the set + the freight (approx $30)

Sorry i have no pics as they are boxed up and ready to ship.
(had an other buyer that left me hanging)
