You would be limited to just a couple months a year tho. Lol. You gettin lots of rain too? We've had over 6" the last few days.

Been extremely lucky this week. Just had about a ten minute light shower yesterday morning. Had lightening and wind over night, but the rain missed us. Headed out to knock some more hay down. They claim that any showers that pop up this afternoon will most likely be south of us. Getting so late in the year,I'm willing to risk it.

Got the drum mower on the tractor after lunch. As I was changing the blades (10 mnute job) it started misting. Sitting here watching the weather radar feed on local TV secondary channel. Trying to decide if I dare try to cut if and when it lets up. Noon forecast seemed like they were expecting clearing this afternoon. Now about 2:30pm.

I'm gonna be getting a new roof on my house next week, so you Michigan guys will probably get the remnants of the rain we'll get as soon as they have my old roof torn off. I think Randy is almost straight east of me across the lake.

Sorry guys...

Ya,it's about 3:10. I cut 20 acres, sprinkled just a little. Was going to go cut another 8,called the wife as soon as I was done with the 20 to have her check the radar but she wasn't in the house. I just checked, looks good. Going back out right now. I needed another glass of tea and a granola bar anyway.

Got mine half done when I blew the drive belts. Four 5/8 x124" belts going to lighten my wallet substantially. Hay is very dense - could never have cut it with a sickle bar mower. Belts should be in in the morning - in the Grand Rapids warehouse this afternoon.
