Earlier reports indicated a "routine" proceedure went badly wrong. Waiting for the litigations to start. Really it"sad. She made her name and fortune at the expense of many celebs who probably needed to be jerked up short. Will bd missed.

She used to be a pretty good stand up comic before she became a "celebrity". Back in the days of Ed Sullivan and Johnny Carson.

She is 81 IIRC. Any "routine" procedure could go horribly wrong with someone that age, even if the medical staff did absolutely nothing wrong.

She had a unique ability to make fun of herself, while simultaneously making fun of others. She never took herself very seriously, and I always thought she was a hoot. RIP, Joan.
