Allis WC forklift on craigslist-homemade?

I saw this on my local CL last night, it looks nice but I wouldn't want to buy it for quite that much money. Does this appear to be entirely homemade or is it something that was done at a short line plant of some kind like the Honey Bees and such were? I thought it was kind of interesting.

There were a bunch of units similar to that around here, still are for that matter. Seems like a B or BN Farmall was the favorite to turn around. They used the heck out of them to load boxes in the orchards.

Oh he's homemade for sure. The Farmall BNs you see turned around like that likely came from John's Manufacturing down around St. Joseph, MI. They quit years ago, had a sale. I bought a lot of stuff at that sale, mostly leftover final drives, narrow front and bell housings. They built nice units, many still in use today, and still bring a healthy price.

WCs are easy to reverse, WD even easier. WD it"s just unbolt, flip diff gear and re-bolt. WC needs a little internal grinding of diff to make room for gear to be flipped. I reversed my WD loader tractor in late 70s. Was a nearby shop that did that full-time. IH M and H are easy as well. Excellent traction, visibility, and cheaper than a skidloader.

Saw a LOWERED reversed WD forklift on an irrigation mfgr auction some years ago. Finals were mounted upside down to lower tractor. Wide front end re-done to match.

They pop up once in a while.
Local place had a Case last year that I considered.
Guy I know has a little reversed Farmall that he uses constantly
to change big tires.
Here is a little Farmall I saw on CL.
