Kholer Generator

So I have a old Kholer generator powered by Waukesha FC132A engine, it does not have a oil filter and I would like to add one on, I think I know how to plumb it in but I would not mind some suggestions. I would be happy with a bypass filter.
Help and thanks'.

If you have a oil line you can use as a supply that doesnt drop
the pressue, a remote filter might be a option. 1996 vintage
Chev S10 Blazer Bravada etc use a remote oil filter unit right
behind the front bumper, should be an easy find at a junk yard
for a few bucks.

Unless you can tap into the flow from the oil pump and route it through a filter (with the appropriate relief valves) and back to the main oil gallery, you can simply use a bypass filter, which filters a small portion of the oil pump's output, and returns it to the oil pan.

WIX has a nice filter head, and and a few filters of different sizes to go with it.

The nice feature is that the restrictor orifice is in the FILTER and gets replaced every time, eliminating the long-term possibility of a clogged orifice resulting in no oil filtration

(I have installed them on quite a number of older engines over the years, and they are reasonably priced.)
