I"m thinking about trying to spray fluid film thru a 3-gallon pump up weed sprayer...does anyone know if it is thin enough to work in this type sprayer? It has a 18" tube after the tip and the tip will spray 360 so it would be ideal for truck frames and for the reach etc. Thanks

Mike, Thanks..just ordered 5 gal of it..I have airless sprayers with 6 and 12" attachments..but I need a small nozzle to reach hard to get at places...(inside of frame etc)plus I might drill holes in fenders and doors...I"ll see if I can find a true undercoating gun with extensions for the nozzle..a 360 would be nice.

J.C Whitney used to sell a simple and inexpensive rust proofing sprayer. It has wands and bottles screw onto it. I use mine for motor oil spraying.

J.C Whitney, Eastwood, etc... someone should have one of the undercoating guns with the flexible extensions with the 360° spray. I don't remember where my brother got ours.

Put an inline filter on your sprayer hose. The fluid film has enough wool in it that it will plug the sprayer tip.

Does anyone know if Fluid Film will flow through an airless sprayer, or is it too thick?

If it would flow through an airless paint filter, it might go through the sprayer as well. I wouldn't want to start thinning it with solvents to make it flow.
