Peta won't like this video

(quoted from post at 18:36:46 08/25/14) A bear gets his head stuck in a milk can and somebody uses a log skidder to pull it off. lol
Saving a bear
hey ought to be as happy as a pig in poop! Could have shot the bear to avoid denting milk can!

He probably had to make a wide swing to head the bear off so he didn't get across the entire field. Wouldn't be surprised but what those tires might be too wide to get between the rows anyway.

I don't know about Christopher Robbin. More likely Timber Jack. lol
The guy sure had some talent to make the catch like he did.

Reminds me of an incident when I was a kid. Stray dog ran around with a gallon or bigger jar stuck on his head. One neighbor finally shot the dog.

A similar situation when I was about 4 yrs old - a skunk got it"s head caught in a small mayonnaise jar and couldn"t get loose. he was mad, scared, and on a panic trail! When a skunk ain"t happy, ain"t nobody else gonna be happy. My old man finally put him out of his misery with a .22 rifle. He left a MAJOR impression on the neighborhood for the next couple of days.

Where is PETA when you really need them? I would have loved to see their "solution"!

what about People for the Ethical Treatment of Corn?

I'm mad about the unneeded death of all that corn, just to save the life of 1 bear. Hundreds were killed to save one... Life is not fair.

Heck that's easy, PETA would have had YOU catch it with your bare hands and gently remove the jar. Kinda like when deer are starving PETA thinks local farmers should just give up hay, time and fuel to feed them. That is their solution, spend other peoples money and put others at risk.

I agree.

They did a number on someone's corn field.

Think of all the lost ethanol.
