today in PA ,,,Different place

a good friend of mine from nj bought 18 acres of land,just 4 miles from our place in PA. Today I helped him clear out some spots so he can get into the property, I took a few pictures too.

The field on his property is planted in soybeans

we cleared an old roadway that leads into the property

found some rust,,,but nothing good

Did you have to pay him for letting you "play" with his JD 110 backhoe??? LOL

I have always wanted on of those smaller backhoes. They just look handy.

I have a JD 410G and love it. First backhoe with AC/Heat I have had. The cab is not in the way on real hot days. LOL

I'm over 6' and find 110 cab a tight fit, they are handy though. OK when driving tractor hard to get into place to run hoe. Open cab would be easier I guess.

PA is beautiful, the hills are long and slow, here they are more pronounced, not as steep as West Virginia, which I too always thought was some interesting terrain.

Well at least you did not have any ground wasps, (see above) LOL! seems I was trying to do some of the same in this old upper field so I can get back in there for firewood, walk, put in a food plot and hunt again.
