Eliminated half the gnats in Michigan today

I painted this Ford 640 outside this morning.
All the gnats decided to commit suicide in the wet paint. LOL
It'll need a few more coats anyway.

Those gnats will just give it "character. LOL

I tried to paint a pickup one time. I got the body work done to where it did not look bad. I painted the hood three times and never could get it dry without a bug landing in the paint and ruining it. Left the last one in the paint and just drove the truck like that.
 
Nice. Good to see you in Blanchard. Never got to say hi to Mr
Lund . We had a slight problem with my boy losing his test kit .
So we had a trip to Wal-Mart to get a new one just to have
someone drive by and ask if we knew who's it was when we got
back!.

I didn't get to stay and watch, how did team
Fordson do in the pulls?
 
"Ahh,don't worry about it. They'll buff right out. lol"

They're all on the cast except one on the oil filter case, so I
won't even bother to buff them out. Pick them off and paint
over them. Won't even notice the difference in texture! ;)
 
Have a car that has won first at every car show for years.
Mostly because I don't show anyone the set of fly legs stuck in
the paint. Poor thing, I didn't offer to get her a wheelchair or
anything.
 
I took a third in 4500 with the all around . And we had the short fordson's take 2nd and a 3rd. The Farmall BN that went 2700 to 5500 lbs took everything.... Do you think it was stock?????? I did see Mr Lund hoofen some wheat in the belly of the beast from a distance.
 
One time my Dad read in some magazine (probably Mother
Earth) that you could pant a board yellow, smear it with
grease, stake it on a pole in your garden and it would catch
bugs. It did - but what a mess...

I think after that he returned to seven and other liquid sprays!
