I finally went back to work .. I've been fooling around at home for a year after surgeries , trying to get so I could actually do something.. So , I got a job at Concord Road Equipment in Painesville , Ohio.. My old job from 17 years ago.. Was given a car to drive to visit customers about buying snow and ice control trucks and equipment.. Berming machines , tar kettles, asphalt hotboxes, Man, has that place grown... They're now building stainless dump bodies on a rotisserie there.. Truck shop was full as is the back yard where new unbuilt chassis' sit.. Hope it works out.. R.S.

They probably could use some in Atlanta, GA. All those vehicles stranded last Winter. We had our share of it here in MD in Feb. Hal

I bought some equipment from them for ADOT about 20 years ago. My dealer in Painsville was Earl Ives Equipment, managed by Fred Dickinson, back in the 70's.

Good for you!! They are hoping that you will keep all of their existing customers very happy and bring in many new ones. They are hoping that you will do well enough that they can pay you more than you ever thought that you would earn, and that you will stay on until age seventy.

I haven't seen Fred in years.. I wonder if he's still around?? His boys are both selling too.[ Carl and Frank].. . Earl Ives Equipment has been gone many years now.. They moved from Stage Ave. to Fairport Nursery Rd. then out of business after that..

Hey, hey... woah, woah, woah... Let's not start throwing pictures of that white stuff around, and using the S word just yet.

Can we wait until at least the end of September?

Good luck with the new/old job! Company vehicles are nice to have these days.

I've got to come up with a way that trucks that sit around don't have birthdays waiting to be built.. The turn around time just isn't there at this time.. It takes 1 person almost 2 weeks to build one snow and ice control truck with dump bed , hydraulics, lights, plow hitch, plow , spreader , and all the other junk that needs to get installed.. The back yard is full of truck chassis' and another lot outside the city.. I'm going to concentrate on manufactured goods .. like tar kettles , hotboxes , berming machines , spreaders, and repairs.. R.S.

I go back to the doc Monday. Sure hope I can pass his test. So I can at least do some work. Been stuck in the house since July 3rd.
