scrapper premiums ???

srapper paid 45 bux for a short blok 302 junk , 325 for junkie14ft oliver disc and 225 for a junky burch 10 ft disc ,,, not sure how he can come out lest he gets a super premium

Double the number you get paid . That's what the buyer sells it for.

So scrap iron is right at $200 a ton? I doubt very much if either of those discs would weigh a ton.

I have 250 ton contracted for Sep delivery at $315.00 a ton direct to where they melt it.
These scrap yards have delivery involved but still paying about half across the scales.

We are getting about 165 / ton for cars and 220 for heavy and those prices have been constant . The steel mill is right beside me and I can't sell direct so we get a lot less than the scrap contractor gets.

I will agree to that. Once a week the WSJ lists the prices mills and exporters are paying. It is usually at least double or a little more.
