My cousin and I are planning to be at Oakley on Friday. Is Mr. Wondergem going to be there with his sun shade? Any one else going? And when?

I don't know if Jack's back yet or not. He was going to Iowa and was going to pick up some things out there for me this past Saturday. He said he'd take them to Oakley this coming Saturday,but I don't know if he'll be there Friday or not.
My plan is to go Saturday. I don't know which tractor Jack's taking,but as far as I know he'll have his awning. I'm sure he'll post later in the week of he's not back yet.
Do you need another picture of some of us Dave,so you'll recognize us?

Since we have 2 weddings to go to Sat, Fri is my only option, so I guess I'll look for Kevin, I met him last year at the Clarksville show.

It looks like Saturday will be the pick day when everyone can come.
I'm tied up on Sat. so I'm going on Friday again. I will be wondering around with my official Red DoubleR hat on. So say Hello if you see me. Maybe someday I can make Sat. and meet more of you.
On the plus side Friday is senior day so I get a discount on the entry fee.

I wont be able to make it this year, which bums me. I have made it every year since 1993.

But... I scored two passes for the entire VIP package for the NASCAR race at MIS this weekend. By scored, I mean FREE! I guess they include all your food/drinks, hospitality, pits, hot laps, etc. I have never been there, so I will be the guy wandering aimlessly.

Not too interested in the beer but it will be nice to have good food for 3 days and air conditioning, I wont turn down a free beer with my dinner though.

Plus its my 19th wedding anniversary, I will be trying to convince the wife all weekend its her gift. Hope she believes me.

So I will see you guys next year.

Used to go, but wife and I decided to pass on it this year. Last two years had to dodge so many quads and golf carts driven recklessly by kids! Almost got hit twice last year. Emailed the club in prior year, no results still same with the carts and quads. Being on fixed income, with the $10.00 entrance fee each, plus the cost of gas to drive there and back, combined with the carts we've decided to spend our money else where. Used to enjoy it, but they've priced it out of reason, compared to other shows and they have way too many problems with carts. Maybe in the future we'll return, who knows.
