OT Hot Air Balloons

We took our almost 2 year old granddaughter to a balloon launch! She puts the 'fun' into this event!

They used to launch across the road from me a lot.
They make a big WHOOOSHing sound from the burner.
The cows are scared of that sound and run in all directions.
Usually thru fences, out in the road, neighbors property.

The balloons are pretty to watch but I sure am glad
they found a different place to launch from.

Had one land on our place a few times. After they set down in a hay field and flatten everything, then drive their vehicles in, then stand around while they have their champagne...Then say how much they appreciate us "letting" them land here. I always say "Well, you could take me for a ride some time." They won't answer.

I had the same problem got a No Trespass notice served on them plus filed two complaints against them with the FAA.No more Balloons.

In fairness, they did once give me a certificate saying I would be entered into an end-of-season drawing with all the other property owners where they landed, for a $25 savings bond. WOW
