She worked the night shift

She worked the night shift in the milo field all night. Didn't get off work until 9:30 am. She is also getting fat and lazy. Likes to sleep during the day on the chair next to me while I'm on the computer.

Hey, the little varmints are out at night. You gotta adjust your schedule to when the work is available. Good for her- she deserves a nap- graveyard shift is not easy.
 
Yes she does. She is getting fat with all the fringe benefits working the hoot owl shift. Mice must make her sleepy. This morning she was stuffed.

Maybe better eating here, no need to venture far into the woods. Ginger females are unusual, notice that she doesn't have actual white on her. monochromatic. Lola's the same. Our ginger boys had white places.

This photo is old, she's a couple pounds larger now. Vet just said she's 7 lbs overweight. They learned she's got the muscle to haul her bulk when trying to get her back into the carrier. I only lost a little blood getting her in.

She thinks she's top of the food chain, until someone larger comes around. We've learned that when she stands on her back legs, craning her neck for a better view down the driveway, another bear's passing through.
 
Here is a few of some of our 10 barn cats we have around the place.
They really like it when I have hay on the wagon in the barn, it becomes the prime sleeping spot.

They all try to stake out places on the hay to cat nap.

We very few problems with mice, rats or snakes.

Oh, yes, still on patrol. Even after she's eaten all she can. Then she shares the surplus with us. Mornings on the patio here you watch your step.
