Lately I can relate to that.
wife has been in and out of hospital all thru July, work is po'd about the amount of time I've had to take to deal with her situation. Wonder sometimes if there is a light at the end of the tunnel or if somebody turned it off.

I can relate to your circumstance. My old boss, who I got along great with even questioned me years ago. Thought I was taking a little too many days off. I was taking wife to Dr. appointments out of town and would use a vacation day. I got only one week of vacation and would usually take just a half day at a time so that week covered a lot of half days off. He never stopped to think I hadn't actually taken a vacation for a few years so work flow was not interrupted to any degree.
