Pennsylvania Farm Show

My wife and I are planning on attending the Keystone Inv Livestock Expo the first of Oct in Harrisburg, Pa. Although we wont have a lot of time, what are some points of interest nearby. I have heard Hershey is interesting, and I hope to drive through Lancaster County if its not far away. Anything else that is a must see from you guys? Thanks for any pointers - Bob

You could drive on up to Burks county and visit the Assemblies of Yahweh in Bethel, Pa.

We took the grand kids to The PA. Train Museum. It is near Lancaster. Trains of all eras from steam to diesel. All of them are inside. Our 5 grand sons loved it. It was very nice.

The train museum is HIGHLY recommended, but while you're there, especially with the kids, right across the road is the Stasburg Railroad. They have a great ride to Paradise and back, and the kids would love it. Both are located just east of Strasbug, and about thirty minutes from Lancaster center. It can really fill a day...
