800 unread emails, i just got done going thru all of it and got rid of them and deleting a bunch of junk emails. funny thing, it says i still have 1 left, i can't find it.

Ive had that before too. Sometimes it is one that was hidden or placed a ways back. One time I had to go almost all the way back to find it. If you can try going to the last page of your emails and look from that end you might find it there. I think my computer was just playing tricks on me.

Had almost 1000 once. Took awhile to wipe them out.
Had to tell my Mom my computer was broke so stop sending stuff. She still thinks it's broke after 5 years. lol

When you get 15-20 junk per day does not take long to fill up. Some are as high as 5 per day from same address that I wish I could block but not computor smart enough to know how to do it. Still on windows XP

I have had my own personaly e-mail account for a little over two years.

I have contacted MANY people through CL with it, a few of my buddies (only have 3 that talk to me) and yet I have NEVER gotten a spam E-mail!!

I take pride in telling people that, but then I only log into it about once a week!! Bryce

at the top, look for "spam" click on the arrow next to it and click on "mark as spam"

I wish the computer was smart enough that when you mark something spam for 4 days in a row that it would automatically delete the message. Get as many as 150 junk messages a day. didn't know there were so many nnalert outfits and I have never been in one. Problem is that if you open one and use there "unsubscribe" they know you looked at the message and bombard you with twice as many. Real big pain in the you know what!!!

Your e-mail program should have a way to block things from designated addresses. Check out al the options, something should be there unless it's REALLY primitive.

(quoted from post at 02:37:19 08/01/14) how come it has to always be in the last place ? just for once couldn't it be in the first place. ? :)

If you find it in the first place you look that becomes the last place you looked.

I'm on XP, I use Outlook Express, to block them I open the message and click on "Message" at top left of screen, click "Block Sender" in the drop down box. From then on they go to "deleted items", I don't see them.
