bought a 1951 Farmall A my first tractor any advice will be
appreciated

International made a small drag disk harrow, the model 9A. It was made in different widths. A good Farmall A should handle a 8 foot disc. The disc had a rope you would pull and drive ahead to angle the disk. You would pull the rope and back up to put it back in to transport position. John Deere and other manufactures made similar type disks.

Here is what the disc looks like that would have came with an A. I have one and it is a very good disc.

Basically any "drag disk" harrow between 6' and 8' wide will work behind an A. Drawpins are universal.

I say that because you can look for a very very long time for a specific model of something that old. Especially an implement. Unless you are willing to pay any price and/or drive any distance.

You can usually find a generic disk of unknown origins local for not much money. It pays to not be fussy sometimes.

Other options include "spring tooth harrows" often called "drags."

Guess I would politely differ on the width of disc an A would handle- I think you'd be much happier with a 6'. Part of doing a good job of discing is being able to pull it pretty fast, to get some action throwing dirt and sod around.

Hope you're planning to plow it first, if its sod.
