When is it a good time?

Son has an '84' Chevy 4x4 pu. Something is wrong with drivetrain. Acts like something in transfer case. Maybe, haven't look into it yet. But he made a comment I thought was humorus, not to take litely his delima. He said" this is not a good time for this to happen." I would like to know when is a good time?

I traded a car, went in signed the papers got the keys to the new one, gave the keys to the old one to the salesman. He went over tried to start it & it wouldn't start. I think that was a good time.

friend was looking at a hay baler. Asked if he could hear it run. Man said sure. He started it up. Shawn said it sounded like it was quite loose and then a chain slipped and it sheared both needles off.

When I was a salesman for GM, I was on a demo drive in a Chevy Suburban with a prospective buyer.

The transmission blew bigtime 8 miles from the dealership. I had to call another salesman to come and rescue us.

Funny thing was, we replaced the transmission in the Suburban and the same guy came back and bought it.

A good time would be after the expiry of the 50/50 warranty, so ideally any thing over 50 ft or 50 seconds, and yes I have seen some machinery in auctions that had that warranty or should of if it didn"t.
Regards Robert
