I got them planted late,hope they make it ,cultivated them yesterday,and put a little fertilizer around them

Looking at your pic reminded me of the days when
corn was checked planted.

Did you make your pumpkin cultivator?

I rescued an old 2 row dearborn cultivator that
was on it's way to the scrap yard. Never plan to
use it, just something have around. Mine doesn't
have the spring like device, it is the old shoe
type. But the dearborn cultivator is set up to
move everything around. Guess I could make it in
to a one row pumpkin cultivator.

no,that came with the tractor,it is a ford one row cultivator,next round of cultvating,I will do with the roto tiller,I did measure the rows both ways

Smart thinking, checked rows. I planted my tomatoes the same way, can till both ways for the first time.
Then I use leafs or grass mulch. Weeding isn't for me.
