Once in a lifetime event -full moon and birthday

I realized a few years ago, looking at the charts for full moons, a person may only experience that once in a lifetime, so I stayed up late and hung around outside last night, got up 445 am, took some photos, listened to the symphony of birds all around, while the alleged super moon was starting to set, its one of 3, 2 more to go this year, this one being the buck or hay moon. Sure was nice cool air this morning, about 50F, opened the garage doors and cooled off the garage basement then closed when the sun was up, nice low humidity, not much different than other full moons I've enjoyed observing, just not on the day the odometer changes one click ! My father had one on his 70th as I recall, nice clear night etc. Kind of tired, got work to do, but was cool to see it, and how bright it was last night, I could see all the deer in the field, and not in my garden, (thanks to liquid fence!)

Happy BD, Billy.

This one is a spectacular full moon.

Hope your day is the same.

Happy Birthday Billy. Gotta have respect for someone who operated bull dozers and Mack trucks. Many more.

PS to bad you didn't wait a few more days so you could be a LEO.

Happy Birthday Billy. Guess you could say you got mooned to celebrate. It sure was a pretty moon last night, took the fog outside for an excuse to look at it.

Happy Birthday, Billy. Moon the last few nights has been spectacular. I've been showing it to my grandson who lives in the city--not so good for viewing the moon!

Thanks all !!!!, I'm usually covert/humble about the odometer change, but this moon thing was a bit intriguing, thought it worth mention here !

Hope you enjoyed your day. Last evening I was outside putting away some tools and happened to glance over my shoulder, "What the heck?", then I realized it was the moon peeking over the roof of the house. It was big and beautiful tonight, also. I kinda like moonshine, er, I mean, oh, what the heck.:>)

LOL ! - not off by much and one is fire the other is water, one makes it boil the other puts it out as I recall thinking about those astrology signs.

How can you go through life without knowing how to run a twin stick Mack, and or know how to push some dirt around ? LOL !

Last one I drove above, can't believe its been 5 years since.

Have driven these going way back:

'81 tractor, R model long wheel base fuller 9 speed 300+, '84 R model tandem dump forget what engine, twin stick, several DM steel nose tandem dumps, all with twin sticks, 5 speed with 237 Maxidyne, or were these 6 speed with the low gear I forget, seemed they were all the same these trucks.

One in the photo is a '74 DM with a twin stick, former concrete mixer truck I believe, 20'sileage/grain body, front end on this one rode very rough.

And of course the '61 B model, 5x4 with 54,000 rears, manual steering, that was interesting, nothing but raw truck,

D3's,( many of those D4, D4G brand new, D5, D6, '94 D6 LGP brand new D7(mine) D8K's, D9 and Fiat Allis FD31, Komatsu D65 PX LGP, D65 non LGP, D37 or the smaller grading tractors, JD 1010, 350 450 550 650 850. Also worth mention since you are in the demo business, 955 and 977 cat, several of those.

Its interesting to look back and think about all the equipment and such that you have operated, lot of great experiences for the most part.
