Not my day

Received a 1/2 inch of rain this morning, sun came out and wind picked up, so I thought I would start mowing some hay. Got to the field in my truck and got out. Truck had a flat. Checked out tractor and mower, 5410 New Idea, started mowing and the tractor wasn't running well, playing with throttle and lift and hit the fence. Got things lined out, made a few rounds and a shaft in the mower broke. Dealer can't get to it till late tomorrow. Brought tractor and mower home, left truck with flat, unhooked mower and loaded it up. R & R looks good tonight

"Mama said there'd be days like this, there'd be days like this my Mama said." I guess if it's gotta happen, might as well get it all at one time. Does kinda make you shake your head though, don't it?

well, like grandma used to say, sometimes you gotta take the bad with the terrible. i hope tomorrow goes better.
