new holland 8010 dual power

I have a new Holland 8010 and the dual power quit working any ideas? you can flip switch up or down and nothing happens. we found a very small bare spot in the small wire that goes into tranny housing put a test light on it and it lights up when the switch is in high side. Any Ideas

Most likely an electrical problem. I discovered that if you have no background noise around you, that with the key on, if you manipulate the location of a bad connection, you can hear the solenoid inside chatter.
