Man I love that tractor. When we got our 1086 I thought that cab was the Ritz Carleton. Every time I was in it I would run a rag over the dash to keep the dust off. It was our first cab with A/C and the first tractor that we had that was meant to have a cab. Ahhhhhh.

Bet that hydro is the cats meow on a baler. Balers always seemed to be hard on clutches. Been noticing you have more 86 series tractors lately, you thinning out the herd of 66 series?

Without a doubt! I was still pretty young and had seen the new 86 series in the farm mags, the first one I saw in person was being unloaded at our place, a real early 1086. First tractor with a cab on the place. I wanted to run it awful bad, got my chance pulling a V-plow. Fourteen hours on the tractor and about my third pass I looked out the right side just in time to see the right dual flip up and forward and fall over beside me, lesson learned early about keeping the duals tight. Put a lot of hours on a 186, super handy tractor.

1066 or 686 haven't turned a wheel this year. that 10 sure deserves a rest. I worked the snot out of that ol' gal.
