Have never seen anyone in this area use a hay-thrower system. So do most have 2 wagons, with a crew at the barn and a driver shuttling loaded wagons in and empty ones back? or 3 wagons, or 4? How many does it take to keep the baler supplied with empty wagons such that he doesn't have to sit and wait?

I have twelve wagons and two balers. That way if I don't have the help I can keep baling. Yesterday I worked with my uncle, he has two balers a a dozen wagons as well. With the four balers going we did about 1700 bales in three hours. We baled 6 more loads at my place yesterday as well. Im just heading out to bale the load I couldn't get last night because the dew was coming on. I'm trying to get er done.

You must have a pretty good inside crew. When I was a kid I stacked in the loft and the farmer's son transferred from the outdoor to indoor elevator. there was a rule, no more than two bales on the big outdoor elevator.

I worked the snot out of my 2 Masseys over the three day weekend, rough cutting some heavy steep stuff with many, many obstacles.

Used the 533 (2007 version of the 135) with a HD Woods 6' cutter and the 2635 with a HD Woods 7' cutter. Different set ups for different areas.

Spent about 20 hours in the seat over the 3 day weekend and finished up about an hour ago.

Nothing broke and got r done about when I expected to.

The 2635 has only about 45 hours on it and seems a little weak. It also uses more fuel than I expected. Hopefully, things will improve with hours.

The 533 has 400 hours on it and is coming into its prime. It's a torquer and does not use much fuel.

Love those old tech long stroke, low RPM torque engines.

I like my Masseys. Mowed with a 180 and a 175. Raked with a pair of 65s. Baled with the 180 and Super 90. Didn't burn a bunch of diesel doing it either.
