OT Tooth Ache

I've had 3 sinus surgeries in the past 25 yrs. It seems like I made need another one. This time I'm not sure if it's a tooth causing my pain though. There's no swolling but severe pain above my upper left teeth once I'm up for a while and hot foot really sets it off but cold makes it feel better. Any one experience this before?

I had severe headaches after having both top molars with the three roots on them, the second ones from the back, filled over the years. They just kept getting worse. It got to where they were so bad I'd get tears in my eyes.
I had both of them pulled a few years ago. I still get mild headaches from time to time, but wow, what a difference it made to get those teeth out of there!

You may be describing an accessed tooth. Press on the gum above each tooth, when you find a tender spot, that will be the offending tooth. It may take a few days before you can identify the correct tooth. Root canals and $$ solve these things.

I've had both a sinus infection and sinus surgery. The infection caused my teeth on just on the right side to hurt.

I went to dentist and told him to remove my teeth. He took x-rays and told me I had an infection. My sinus surgery was about 5 years later following many infections.

Yes, I have an upper molar that is sensitive for some reason. One summer on the wheat harvest in Idaho it hurt unbearably until I figured out one of the Tylenol cold pills helped it out. I forget which one it was, maybe the Cold and Sinus one, I don't remember. If I ran out of those pills I was back in misery. I was about ready to go to a dentist to have the tooth jerked but I toughed it out and as soon as I was back in Iowa the pain went away. I found out later others in the crew were having sinus troubles too. Jim

I had a tooth that was really bothering me last year. Put off having it checked because people said a root canal hurt so much. Finally couldn"t stand it any more and had it done, no pain at all.

On top of that, that the soreness in my hands that I thought was arthritis went away and hasn"t come back.

I had a root canal done in the late 70's it was not fun. twenty years later that same upper molar got to hurting. The gum around it was swelling up and hurt for days. Got so bad I took an ice pick held some whiskey in my cheek for a few minutes and gave it a jab. It drained, washed it with Listerine, the swelling went away. The pain relief was instant. It lasted a couple more years but I had a dentist look at it. He said either try another root canal or pull it. I had it pulled. The surgeon took one look at the tooth when he pulled it and said I made the right choice, they never could have fixed it.

BTDT.Hurts like hell but a little cold water on it and all is good for a while.I've had that same thing a couple of times.Had one pulled and the other root canaled. No infection or swelling, tooth just went south literally over night,For the root canal I went to a gal dentist in Edwardsville.40 minutes and $900.00 later it was all better. That was a while back though.Good Luck.

One sinus surgery is supposed to cure sinus problems,LOL. I would think that a bad tooth is more likely. I have had about ten root canals they are no big deal.

That's odd, I've had arthritus in neck for 15 years. Xrays show it, neck cracks, pain all the time. Some times more than others. Pain goes down neck and right sholder.

Well a week ago Dr put me on a blood thinner, my neck pain and sholder pain is almost gone. So is most of the grinding and cracking.

Now I can happly live with the side effects of the blood thinner if all I get is reduction in neck pain.

I know people who have had multiple sinus operations. I'm glad my Dr got it right on the first try. Never want to go through another one.
