Haying held up again

Just got another one inch of rain in 15 minutes. Here it is about the first of July and haven't started yet. Past years I try to be done by now, except hauling in. There is a lot of hay mowed around the area that's been washed off more then a few times.

Time to go to wet wrapped bales, did 112 bales last week. Baled them on a sunny afternoon, way to tough to keep. Then hauled them home in ,on and off rain showers , and wrapped them the Monday . Makes perfect feed. Cost a bit but, I have a lot of hay saved that would be junk otherwise. Bruce

It fizzled just before it got here overnight. Supposed to storm late this afternoon though,so I'd better keep everything parked.

a Neighboring farmer near Titusville Pa.
got stuck in a field trying to ted his hay.
Most farmers around here haven"t gotten any
hay cut let alone up.

Ya in my area most have not gotten there hay done yet due to rain or the forecast calling for rain. In the 30 plus years I have been doing hay I think this is the latest I have ever done mine. I did get a little bit done but not much due to others needed things fixed so they could do hay. So I do have 6 big rounds done so far
