Searching for fathers 1964 home built tractor

My brother and I have been searching for my fathers home built tractor he built in 1964with two wc allis chalmer rear ends Our trail ends in Montevideo, MN. The last known to have it was C. Laumb, however he passed away in 1973.
We believe he had an estate auction in 1974.. We began looking for it around 2000 but have never seem to get another lead after 1974.

Do you by chance have any pictures? Also any information on the engine and where was it built? I am located in Iroquois co. Il. north of Gilman, Il. so doubt If I can be of much help but some pictures would be helpful. I have a home-bilt that was one of three assembled Gilman, Il. The one I have was assembled with farmall F 30 rear ends and has a Detroit 4-71 engine. Keep us updated with your progress. Good luck with your search. Armand
 
Don't want to be negative, but I think your chances of finding that machine intact are very slim. Many times, people buy stuff like that just for one component that they need, if it goes cheap enough. Could very well be that the buyer needed a 3-71 Detroit for something, took it home and removed the engine, then sent the rest out for scrap, and that was that.

Inventors and innovators are seldom appreciated for their efforts.
 
I am also searching for the person who posted a reply to a post my brother placed in 2002. He mentioned he had a photo we would be interested in but I think we never got a response .

The post was from Jim T. That is all the info we have...

Also, in response to the tractor being scraped.. If it is , of course it would be disappointing. It would still be
rewarding to find out the history of it before it was scraped.
