127 Sale. Anybody going?

Anybody else going to the 127 Yard Sale this year? I've always wanted to go down and start at the football field in Gadsden. This might be the year I do that. If I do,I should be up to Clark Range by Saturday Lee.
Scratch Saturday. Got to thinking,Friday. Gadsden to Chattanooga Thursday,Chattanooga to Byrdstown Tn or Albany Ky Friday.

R Have several avid JUNKERS from this area (Middle Tennessee) that go over and spend two or three days each year. I have never made it.

You don't know what you're missing. lol
I don't go so much to look for junk as I do for the socializing. Never went that I didn't meet somebody that I'll have a story about and remember the rest of my life.
Beautiful scenery the whole way too. That's a bonus.

Yea we kinda like the scenery around these parts too. The older you get the more those old stories and tales will mean to you.. I am people person love to talk..and meet new folks.

Ya,I met the two old gals who ran the old general story in Dunnville Ky one year. Said they'd been there for 60 years. The gate guy who comes up from Liberty several times a year said they're both gone now and the place is closed. You can't go back in time. Glad I had the chance to meet them both.
When you can sit down in the shade with some of these old guys and they tell you the story about how they got a horse drawn plow that they're trying to sell,how can you beat that?

If you were in Dunnville you were real close to here. Neighbor goes every year. They like it from Tn state line south. Every year same spot. They have usual places to eat and visit.

Ya,about Harrodsburg Ky down to Crossville Tn is the absolute best of it. We spent 4 days in that stretch last year.

Coffee pot will be on here between Lawrenceburg and Harrodsburg KY. I normally cuss the yard sale because there is a big set up and lots of traffic accross the highway from me but always good to meet some fellow YT'ers....

I look forward to seeing you Randy. I hope I have the 1850 going by then. I have been so covered up by foolish things I cant seem to get to it. I spent all day yesterday troubleshooting one of my 3020s to see why it wouldn't run.About 4 I found that a bird I assume pulled a wire out under the cowl lol. I look forward to seeing you again this year and if you have time I will show how a redneck lives lol. Lee
