Bad news for wife (stomach cancer)

Took my 89 year old wife to the oncologist Friday doesn't look good to old for Kemo and Radiation she had two medium spots in her stomach checking now with the surgeon to see if they can operate on her but it's real risky at her age.
Will let you al know how things come out later. We will be married 40 years on Thanksgiving day she told the doctor that she just wants to make that.

PS I think it's harder on me than her we have been together for 46 years now.

My wife died at fifty. After a five year battle with lung cancer. Never smoked a day in her life. We were married 32 years. Worst thing I did was blame myself for not doing more to save her. A friends wife had to slap me upside the head. To get me to understand. There was nothing anyone could have done.Just be there for her and don't do what I did. It won't change anything.

Bless both your hearts,cancer is nasty at any age.Lost a daughter with it. I wouldn't wish that illness on my worst enemy.Will say a prayer so you can have X more years together in good health.Warmest Regards,

Thoughts and Prayers to your wife and family. If you have children be sure to get them checked for the same. I saw a documentary on stomach cancer one time. Sorry to tell you this but it may help. Sorry to hear this news.
