My son and I drove down to Huron for a few hours on Friday, what a great show and great line up of equipment. First Rd Power for us, so it was quite a site. I do wish we would have pulled a planter, cutter or grinder down with us. I was a little disappointed there were no cyclo planters or rotary combines there, those were two big sellers for IH. I have no one to blame but myself though, because we have a 400 and 800 cyclo planter that could have been there. It was a great show and just great looking machinery, displays and trucks. I have read before that it is important to get there early, because by Friday afternoon there was a lot of machinery already being loaded up. Real nice show grounds and real nice machinery and organization to match!!!!!!!!!!! The 51 truck is my Uncles, that my Grandpa bought new in 51, He has taken real good care of it, and it has hauled a lot of grain and cattle over the years. Here are a few pictures I took.

I am really impressed with that stack moving truck. How many do you think it can haul at once? Do those tires in front of the factory axles wear a lot quicker than the others? Lots of neat stuff at that show.

They use to haul 32, 3 wide, 6 long on the bottom, 2 wide and 5 on second row and 4 on top. With the bigger round bales that are more densely packed, they want the customers to stack them 6 long 3 wide with 10 on second row and then leave the top 4 off for a total of 28 bales. Without the bales on the way top it lowers center of gravity and the trucks won't sway as much. We use a pull type tractor mover and only haul 20 at a time. I can't imagine what there insurance rates are for the large movers. For the most part I have not heard of any accidents with these movers. They don't move at night, snowy weather, or fog, and for the most part try to stay off of the busy highways. I don't know how many miles they get off of a set of tires. The pusher axles ahead and behind of the drive axles are up when empty.
