Terrible news

I just learned that the son of a friend died last night. I don"t know his exact age, 13 or 14 maybe.

He"s always had seizures and was on medication, but was doing very well.

This was completely unexpected.

Please keep this family in your prayers. I know Christa is devastated.

I think any parent will agree that news like that is hard to read, even not knowing the people involved.

If only there was more one could do to reduce a family's suffering at a time like that - some gift to give, some effort to make, or some words to say.

But I guess it all comes down to having a good group of family and friends around to provide some comfort and share some of the sorrow.

Nancy, I don't know you but you seem like a nice person - I'm sure they're lucky to have you there as a friend.
