We put up 97 round bales today. Got them all wrapped, too. Every field is rutted. Muddy, muddy, muddy. Could'a been worse. At least the hay was dry and we got it all.

I envy you. Mine's still laying out there, what little bit I have cut of it. I just checked the radar. Rain's knocking on the door again.

We generally get the weather you are experiencing about 3 days or so after you do. Hopefully we can get the fertilizer on before then. Jeff figures he needs 150 bales to get throough the year for his young stock. With a little luck, he just might get them this year. This is on land that hasn't been properly fertilized or taken care of for 30 years. A couple more years of proper nutrition and getting the lime up to snuff and he should do okay.

Been scrambling to take advantage of the few nice days we are having to get caught up on garden work, too.
