I like your tractor/combine.I find the smaller tractors such as yours ride rougher than my Massey 135 or my Ford 2000 but then, you're probly in creeper gear.

In 1938 my grandfather was in Ohio and saw a allcrop 60 Allis combine and a WC Allis Chalmers and said that is the future so he bought A new Allcrop 60 combine and WC Allis Chalmers, when he got it back to Michigan My uncle said you just wasted your money that will never catch on as it does not leave a straw pile. Some people can not see the future, We still have the 38 WC

I have a copy of Morrisons Feeds and Feeding from 1948. In the chapter on forages it talks about "these new pull type balers" and then goes on to explain why they'll never catch on.

R If you ever hear of a 90 for sale let me know, this part of the country was full of the 72s but was not big enough for the 90s. Back when dad had two 72s with wd45 s we cut lots of crops but the thing is now with the quick hydraulics and like that tractor there KUBOTA glide shift it is a dream compared to what we use to have. I can hold the header perfect and go any speed I want. Wheat so far is making over 65 bu acre still have 400 acre or so to go, have enough moisture we are following with hard land beans.

Spook 4630 ,little more horse power than the 3400 , notice I had to lay a hammer in the seat to get off with the pto still running. Handles the 72 combine just fine.

I'll be running wheat with my AC 60 combine in about a month. Does a good job, and I don't want to get done too fast, so it's just about perfect.

Takes a minute or so in wheat that good for the machine to clear, had to put a weight in the seat to let me do it.

If you could see there is 600 lb. wheel weights in each wheel center and the tractor is a little heavier than the small 2,000 ford or 135 mf the man spoke of. Ride is if anything good or certainly no problem. Nine tractors here on the farm and that Kubota has a transmission that lets you shift any gear at any time, just perfect for that old combine.

I would of loaned you my 51 WD to pull it. I am sick though. For years I could look out my back door a mile to the west and see two AC All Crops in a lean too shed. Didn't know the guy sold the place and the combines went with it and the knew owner had a scraper come and get them.
