Pictures of new tractor

Here is my new tractor. M135GX with the M51 loader. Seems
nice enough so far , in the 20 minute drive home from the
dealership. As you can see in the pictures , it came with a seat
for my buddy. Maybe we should take it out on a date to the
drive-in. I still have some trepidation about a Kubota, but I will
have to give it a chance to prove itself. A 135hp Kubota new,
should work as well as a 22 year old 95hp CaseIH did. Bruce

Nice. I'm about at that crossroad where it's time to spend some money on some new stuff or quit.

Question: Do the new Kubota's sold in Canada have the same emissions krap as they do in the US?

I have a 2008 M6040 that is a great machine. New toys are fun!

Tom I have been selling KUBOTA here in the states almost 30 years and I am not certain. The crap you refer to is caused by government emission requirement for tier 4 engines. Other than additional cost so far have not had a lot of trouble with the set up Kubota is using. Bruce hope you enjoy your new Kubota.

Bruce,
Congratulations on your new tractor. I bet it feels good to have a new machine. I am sure you justly desrve it for all your many years of hard work. Best of luck with it.

Hi Bruce , Its sure a snappy looking machine especially in its new dress . Your Buddy is sure a snappy looking prize also . Be sure to behave if you take her to the drive in because of all those windows . Best wishes with it . God bless, Ken

NICE! I have a buddy that bought an M 9000 5 years ago, 5985 hrs. mowing 15 ft batwing and roll baler. He has replaced the seat and two AC pumps. He thinks it is the best tractor he ever had.

Nice. Have a neighbor that just bought a fairly new MF with cab and loader. He is older and has problems with dust and sun exposure and back problems. I am happy he and you got something that nice. I asked him compared to his farm he bought 40 years ago, what did the tractor price out. He said it was very close.

All the smaller operations around me have shut down over the last several years. I wish there was someone like you in my area. My kids are young teens now, so they don't need me around the house constantly after work. I'd love to work part-time on a small setup, mostly to learn about crops and animals. I don't know hardly any of it, but I like working and I like fixing things. I'd love to have half your knowledge of farming. Kinda rubs me the wrong way to see all the smaller guys falling by the wayside and the big operators only seem to care about squeezing money out of the ground. I understand you gotta watch the bottom line but to me there should be a tradition of sorts about farming, a relationship between the farmer and his land, understanding how one field may perform differently than another and working with that...kind of the way a good man understands and works with a good woman(and vice versa, of course), becoming a team and completing each other instead of one trying to "change" the other to suit themselves.

Maybe I'm just nuts, here I am rambling and have hijacked a thread.

Very nice tractor, you should be proud of yourself and your accomplishments.

Y'all have a good weekend.

Bruce, I feel that you should have a long and happy relationship with that tractor. I have used two Kubotas during the past ten years. My daughter and her ex. bought a BX-23 (lawnmower on steroids) w/loader, back hoe and 60" deck, Iwas amazed at the work it would do. In the divorce settlement he got the tractor, so she found a used Kubota L3130, 32hp and it also does a great job. The only mistake I see is that you let the little lady behind the wheel. She may not want to give it back. (or is that what you are hoping for?) Good luck.

Around here those Kubota 100 plus tractors have taken over the market place. Both the Green and Red guys are buying them. Very dependable, fuel efficient. and loads of operator comforts.

I just bought my second new Kubota. Well built tractors. I would much rather have a Japanese built Kubota than a Chinese built John Deere.

I bought my first 'Bota in '86. In 2001 I traded it in on a new one with 50% more power and equipped very similarly. They allowed me 90% of what I paid for the first one as a trade. Fifteen years later!! I knew that I was onto something.

My dad just bought one like it and like the 24 speed better than previous model 16 speed

You know you guys make me feel good. Been selling KUBOTA,s for almost 30 years and have watched them come a long way. Have been in the cab of the new 140 hp coming. Only one guy on here had something negative to say an I am guessing he has never owned one, who knows. Glad to see the good comments and fell sure Bruce will enjoy the new tractor.

I have heard good things about the Kubota tractors. My brother has had good luck with his 18 hp diesel for lawn and garden work. I was actually looking at a nice used 110 hp one this past winter when my old Massey was out of commission but I finally got the Massey back together so I guess I will have to wait a while til I get my Kubota.

They're good tractors... but don't expect it to replace a Maxxum on drawbar work. For chore work, PTO... probably fine. I know of one farm around here that tried some of the larger Kubota's a few years back and they're after returning to NewHolland's...

My Dad said me one time. If I was younger I would buy a new tractor. I guess I could say the same thing now. I will just keep what I have for the years I have left. Stan

Thanks for all of the kind remarks. This tractor will be used mostly for round baling ,loader work, and pulling the 4 row corn planter. And yes , I think I will keep the instructor that you see in the picture, she has been telling me where to go and what to do when I get there for 32 years now. Hope to try the tractor out baling hay , maybe Sunday, depends on sunshine. Bruce

I looked a couple times at that one to replace my 125. I decided to stick with mine for a few more years, but dang that one of yours is nice. Love the cab, a lot better views and room than mine. Let us know how it goes. I still pull a 1760 JD 12 row planter with liquid fert with mine along with a 15' batwing and loader duties for my real job. Works slick. I used .3 gal/ac fuel per acre planting beans and .35-.4gal/ac in corn this spring. Couldn't be happier. I have a 5740hst at work approaching 2800hrs and it's the fifth smaller one we're on in 25 years or so. Had real good luck with that smaller size too. Stick a 12 row on that sucker and go for it! Looks great.

if the big one's are a tough as the compacts you'll love it, I've had 2 of the compacts in the 25 and 35 HP class and they are tough as pole barn spikes

Hi Bruce, great looking tractor and instructor. Former neighbour has replaced all his CIH with Kubota over the last few years. His only complaint was lifting capacity of the loader. Kubota changed the lift cylinders to a larger size but now he says it is much slower lifting. He says they start much better than CIH in the Canadian winter. No complaints about fuel consumption.

Enjoy the new tractor

Great looking tractor! I've never heard anything bad about them. And for the guys that will tell you to buy American in that size class I'd like to know from who? To the best of my knowledge both JD and AGCO import that size tractor and CaseIH/NH are owned by FIAT.

Around here unless it's near new AGCO dealer support is poor at best and goes downhill fast after that. AGCO corporate doesn't care.

I know a couple of guys with the smaller Kubota's and they love them. I'm told the local (35 miles away) dealer is great with parts and service.

They are not buying them for draft load farming then.A 930-1030-970-1270 Case or JD4020-4320 and etc would-will eat a 125-135 Kubota for lunch-snack and never even belch. What few 125-135s that were bought for replacements for older 110-140 horse tractors have failed-broken down-been replaced within a couple yrs.To each his own and I don't care what anyone buys as long as it isn't my money.
