Do You Believe...

I was laying on my couch two weeks ago and looked out my front door into the clouds. I saw what appeared to be an Angel looking down the road in front of our house. This image only lasted a second. Two days later a young man totaled out his motorcycle just down the road and landed on some big rocks we use to keep the waterway from washing out on our property. Luckily he lived.

I've heard of others seeing images in the clouds. Have any of you experienced this??

OK - no wise cracks about mammatus clouds, guys.

Personally no, but I do believe..

Why, when my wife was at the county fair.
A man standing beside her, grabber her arm
& said YOU SHOULDN"T here.. She thought it was
ODD but left the area where he contacted here.
About 10 minutes later there was a Fire &
explosion. 6 people died right at the spot he
told her to leave.

I haven't seen images in clouds, but I'm convinced I'm being followed around by the spirit of a gal I was once engaged to before I met my wife, and who died fairly young without ever marrying.

She always wore a distinctive perfume and I occasionally get a whiff of that same scent in random times and places.

in my young life i have seen many things (51) but, many unexpected . and been "protected " by something aka: business closing , harm coming my way ect i do belive i have an "angel" above and count my blessings every day

That was almost certainly an angel.

My wife is violently allergic to tobacco smoke. I once made reservations at a Holiday Inn in Flint, MI and requested a "Non-Smoking" room as I always do. When we were checking into the motel, the counter clerk advised us that regardless of my reservation, they had no "Non-Smoking" rooms available.

At that exact moment, a gentleman walked up to the other end of the counter and began complaining that he had been given a Non-Smoking room and he wanted to smoke in his room. We obviously immediately switched rooms.

I've never been convinced that that was pure coincidence.

Haven't really looked for angels in the clouds, though they certainly could present themselves there if they so chose to. Many references to angels in the Bible, I'm sure we've all seen or been affected by them, weather we realize it or not. I know I have!

Hebrews 1:14
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Hebrews 13:2
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

When I was 3 or 4, I saw an image of Jesus in full color in the sky. My siblings couldn't see it, but at that age, it was just something else to see. No big deal.

I had to look that up.
I've never seen angels or breasts in the clouds.
I did see a lady spill her melons in the crosswalk the other day though.
But that was different.
Sorry John...

My son woke up in the middle of the night from a horrible dream that his sister had died. Two weeks later she did pass away very unexpectedly. I'm convinced there's someone or something out there that has the future planned out for us. Jim

Never saw anything in the clouds. But when I lived in Dallas. We had two ghost in the house. One was an old man in a rocker same spot as my wife's recliner.I never saw him but my wife did all the time. If you sat in her recliner. It got very cold on that spot.

The lady with the pink robe. I saw all the time. Got to be part of the family.I know what some of you think. Bill is losing it.

yea, some strange things out there,...I once saw a house fly....then sometime after that I saw a horse fly,...

And this guy was never seen again?
If yes then it was an angel.

I have a had a few close calls but nothing like that.

Many years ago as a young man I was injured, How long I had laid there I don't know but a young woman came to me to help me. She said her name was Mary I think she was French by the way she talked but I could not see her because of the blood in my eyes. She had the most comforting voice and it put my at ease and I knew I was going to be all right. I hurt all over and was week but she said I had to get up and moving as there were bad people close by. She laid her hands on my wounds and the pain seamed to ease a lot and I felt stronger. She got me up and walking as she helped me along. I told her I need to stop and rest and she would say No you must keep moving and I did, I could feel a presence about her that she was different and I needed to do as she said to. We had walked a good ways and I was getting weaker and very tired when she said look there are some men coming and they will help you. I felt her let go of me as the men took hold of me, As I told them my name I told them that she was Mary. He said who you are alone, There is no one with you and we have been watching you walking this way for the last 3 min and no one was with you just you. I guess I pasted out at that point. I woke up in a hospital 3 days later and was being asked what had happened, After I told them about what had happened I asked about Mary. He told be I was alone when they found me walking and there was no Mary as far as he was concerned, However they had no idea how I was walking for 3 miles with 2 broke legs along with my other wounds and the amount of blood I had lost.

There is no dout in my mind an Angel help me that day, The good lord had a plan for me and it was not my time to go. Do I Believe? Yes sir I do! Bandit

yes, there are angels among us ,where were you when you were hurt bandit ??,,, I have a lot of reasons to believe,,,once 0n the metro in Washington dc , some 32 yrs ago my wife mistook the wrong train , my arm had to be yanked out of the door by friend s we were traveling with,,. we thought we were in for a mess , no one had cell phones in those days,,serveral hoodlum guys nearby ,, told us ,, if she is smart , your wife will get off the next stop ,,they also instructed us to let the next train pass ,, then take the next one and it will stop at that possible stop ???,, nothing we could do but trust , and hope ,and pray ,,and follow their directions,, even though they looked like young hoodlums ,, so we did all four ,2nd train came and went , it was not long the 3rd train came along ,we boarded, rode to next stop ,I could see Dianna sitting on a bench crying, beside her was a tall Texan wearing a white cowboy hat, trying to give her peace ,,as soon as the doors open we were in one anothers arms,,. I recall hearing the cowboy hat man , "see I told you they would find you" as we were running up ,,,
instantly we turned around to Thank him , but , HE WAS GONE,, train was still there ,, no way , he could of run over into the cars , and sat down ??.. he would had to been REAL fast...there was only a handful of people on the platform ,, and no place to simply vanish ,,, but that's what happened ,, friends , roger and trish still remember it too

Years ago I was working for a large company in Boston, we had a big project going on that required me to go in on a Saturday to meet up with a bunch of people up from our New Jersey office.

I was heading out the door when all of a sudden I got the oddest feeling - almost like a little panic attack. I stopped, put my keys down - and told my wife that I couldn't go. I felt like something bad was going to happen.

It was such a strong feeling I couldn't ignore it.

I've never felt anything like that before, or since.

I felt ridiculous - and not to mention so guilty about having to blow off my co workers who just drove 5 hours to meet with me. That's something I would never do even if I was sick.

But the feeling was THAT strong.

Later that night I had let it go and forgotten about it.

But then I got a call from my mother telling me my grandfather had passed away unexpectedly earlier in the day.

- THAT gave me goosebumps.

The instant she said it I KNEW there was a connection to what I felt earlier.

I'm not big on the supernatural kind of stuff - but that experience made me believe that there's at least some kind of connection in life that we're not really aware of.

I can't say I've seen and angel, my mom did though. It saved her life. Her best friend who died of breast cancer visited her in a dream and told her to go get checked, My mom did and they found the cancer. She was 36 then. Had she let it go it could've been much worse.

I havent seen an angel but I know there is a higher power. I was stuck in a field on my quad with a dead battery and to young to pull the cord to start it. I turned the key and the fan didn't come on. I knew I was done for and would have to walk a mile back to the house and have dad help me. I was maybe 12 or 13. Then I decided I was all out of option and said well one last hope so I prayed. Sure enough i turned the key and pressed the button and it started. I had tried 4 or 5 times before I prayed and nothing. Thats how I know there is something up above and nobody will ever take that from me.

Years ago a neighbor was in the hospital recovering from a surgery when his dog started howling sometime after midnight and howled most of the night next day we found out he died around 1 AM.

Yes, I had strange feelings before I found out my Grandfather died, then similar ones when my Mother passed away.. Almost too long to type.. But YES, I do believe.

There is a Higher power involved in our lives. I know it. There have been times in my life that there seemed to be something pushing me to do something or another different than what I would normally have done. The "change" of pattern worked out better then normal would have.

Also some people seem to be better "connected" than others. Had a fellow in my unit in Nam. He would get feelings about stuff. He was almost always right. We learned to pay heed to his "feelings". They saved our bacon several times.

The most stark one was a LZ drop he refused to do. We where over the drop off point and he just turned white as a ghost an said we need to go to another place other than this one. The pilot even went low and we looked it all over from the air. The area looked fine. Our Captain listened to the fellow and we went on to our secondary drop zone. The next day another patrol was dropped off in that first drop zone. They did not even make it to the trees before they where done. The VC had a ambush setup in the drop zone. If we had dropped there the day before we would have been DEAD too.

There where other times when he was on point he would all of a sudden leave the trail we where on for no apparent reason. He could not even tell you why he felt it was right to do it but usually his change was the right thing to do.

He was no super tracker or anything either. He was a smaller red headed Irishman from Queens New York. He had never been out in the woods until he joined the service. He was a very devout Catholic man. Maybe that played a role.

He said he had gotten feelings like that all of his life. Good man. I am sure he is at his Lord's side now. He passed several years ago.

So I do believe we are guided at times.

2 memories for me; years ago my sister was in a very bad accident. I was home on the phone with a friend when I suddenly had to hang up from him, with a strange feeling overtaking me which later passed. The next morning I found out about the accident which happened when I had to hang up. Something had drawn strength from me perhaps, she was in a coma for 3 weeks; her kids were barely hurt, but the car was messed up! 2 drunks drag racing-1 hit her head on.
The second memory- I had a load of tobacco stalks to spread(after stripping). This is sometimes done with a manure spreader, which is how I did it. Anyway I took my son along on my lap. I drove down over the hillside in my pasture. It was winter, the ground was greasy slick after freezing and thawing a bit. I got the stalks spread and was heading back up the hill when the tractor spun out on the greasy ground. I was worried that might happen and it did. I held the brakes and did not slid backwards. I set my son off and told him we were having trouble getting up the hill(which I should not have gone down) and we might be stuck. So I backed down, and tried again, and this time did not spin at all. I reached level ground, picked my 4 yr old son up to my lap and said, I could hardly believe I made it! He then told me, I prayed for an angel to push you. I had been regretting my decision to go over the hill and had realized I was in a very bad spot with my son, but his innocent faith got us home! To this day I do believe I got a push. Mark

I cut a tree down to cut for firewood later, about 20 months ago. Ticked off someone. I can't step outside the fence there now, with anything that can be used to cut a tree, without getting that feeling that I need to get out of here, yesterday. I don't think I've left that pasture with a 4-wheeler as fast I did that evening with the amigo. I can cut and trim trees inside the fence all day long. Jump the fence and cross the creek with the 4-wheeler, chasing cattle. Pruners, lopping shears, or a saw in hand? forget it
