190 xt allis

I have a 190 xt allis propane converted to gas has 190 zeneth cab on it valves set and ti ming set but when run at three quarter to full throttle it will run hot exuast manifold will glow cherry red when at idle will cool right down checked and water pump is moving water real good anny ideas why its running so hot motor temp is high and exhuast is red I"m stumped lol any help would be appreciated

A few things to check:

Ignition timing. Retarded timing can cause hot exhaust. Strange, propane usually runs more timing advance than gas, so if anything the timing should be too advanced for gas. Might recheck, be sure the centrifugal advance is working.

Fuel mixture. Take a look at the exhaust, any black smoke? Black soot near the tail pipe? Choke opening all the way? Plugs burning correctly? A way too rich mixture can cause hot exhaust, but shouldn't cause hot engine temps.

Exhaust system. A restricted exhaust can heat up the manifold. Any strange discoloration in the exhaust pipe or muffler? Might loosen the flange and see if there is any difference.

The engine temp, is the air coming through the radiator hot? If not, there could be core blockage. Is the radiator getting adequate air flow? Fan shroud in place, fins clean?

If it was running fine before and now getting hot, (you didn't say that but if) it could be the thermostat is going bad and not opening.

Check with spec's and see what timing advance a gasoline engine uses. On the IH engines, most LP were only 16 degrees full advance where gasoline engines were 22, 25, or 30 on engines in that approximate age and rpm range. Or, just over advanced the timing to see if manifold cools off for a test.
